Loan scheme
PRIME is a member of the Community Finance Development Association (CDFA). Historically it has offered loans on a non-profit basis to people over 50 seeking funds to become self-employed or set up their own business. Applicants had to have been turned down by the regular High Street banks and also meet the scheme’s other strict eligibility criteria.
We have now closed our current loan scheme to new applicants as of the 12th of July 2011 until further notice. We are preparing a new scheme so watch this space. This time new applications will only be considered from over-50s already registered with PRIME and on the PRIME programme.
Over 50s are of course very welcome to sign up for free start-up pack and PRIME Business Club membership to get started on the programme.
